PRAYER

Life brings seasons of joy, struggle, hope, and uncertainty—and through it all, prayer connects us to the heart of God. At Liberty, we consider it a privilege

to stand with you in prayer.  Whether you're seeking comfort, healing, guidance, or simply need someone to lift you up,

our Pastors, Elders, and Prayer Team are here for you.

Please feel free to share your prayer request below. No burden is too small, and no situation too big for God to move.

We are committed to praying faithfully for every request we receive.  You are not alone—we’re honored to pray with and for you.

Restoring the Foundations (RTF) MInistry

Many Christians believe they are wounded beyond repair and live out their lives thinking they will not receive complete healing of their emotional and spiritual wounds until they go to Heaven. Restoring the Foundations is an integrated approach to healing ministry that helps individuals. As you work with the RTF-trained ministers in a three-hour ministry session, you receive healing, deliverance, and restoration.

Are you curious about Restoring the Foundations (RTF)? Take a look at the testimony video below! If you are interested in participating in RTF or in becoming a trained RTF facilitator, contact the church for more information at 252-441-6592 and ask for Pastor Katherine Hopkins

PRAYER MINISTRIES

Why Prayer Matters to Us as a Church

At our church, prayer is central to who we are and everything we do. It’s not just a routine—it’s how we stay connected to God, seek His guidance, and grow together as a community. We believe prayer invites the presence of the Holy Spirit, aligns our hearts with God’s will, and strengthens our unity as the body of Christ. When we pray, we’re not only lifting up our needs, but also creating space to hear from God and experience His peace and direction. Prayer brings healing, restoration, and breakthrough—it’s powerful and effective. That’s why we dedicate time each week for both corporate and personal prayer. It’s part of our mission to be a people rooted in the Word, Worship, Fellowship, and Prayer, where everyone can encounter Jesus, experience the Father’s love, and discover their identity in Christ.

  • Our Altar Prayer Team is made up of members from our Intercessory Prayer Team and our Elders. They serve at the end of Sunday services, praying with and for anyone in the sanctuary who has a need.

  • Our Intercessory Prayer Team gathers mid-week to pray over the needs of the church and again on Sunday mornings to cover the service and everyone attending in prayer. They’re also available during the service for anyone in need of personal prayer.

  • Missions Prayer meets on the third Sunday of the month in the Finance Office at 9 am to pray and intercede for our missionaries around the world that we support! We are all called to "go into all the world and make disciples", and while we may not be able to physically "go" at times, we can spiritually "go" and boldly approach God's throne with our prayers for our missionaries to be covered, protected, and provided for while they minister to those in their area!
